The United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitter's Local Union 333 is proud to endorse State Representative Andy Schor for Lansing Mayor.

“Over the course of his long career in public service, Representative Schor has been a tireless champion for working men and women and is the change we need in the city of Lansing. We are confident his emphasis on making Lansing the absolute best place to live, work, and raise a family is what will make the city of Lansing great for our collective future,” said Price Dobernik, Secretary-Treasurer for UA Local Union 333.

Dobernik said Schor’s laser-like focus on job creation and economic development is a critical reason Andy will receive the union’s support for the election.

“With the anti-union rhetoric coming out of Washington and the Michigan State Legislature, we need strong mayors like Andy Schor who will stand up and fight for our rights. As Mayor, Andy Schor will support policies that will put working men and women first,” Dobernik said.

Schor, who currently serves as State Representative for the 68th District, announced his candidacy for Lansing Mayor last week. This announcement is the first major labor endorsement for Schor.

UA Local Union 333 serves the Lansing, Jackson, and Battle Creek areas and represents more than 1,000 plumbers, pipefitters, steamfitters, welders and HVAC service techs throughout mid-Michigan.
